Due to Columbus Day being on Monday, October 13, 2025, the City Council has rescheduled that meeting to Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at 6:00p.m.

Starting in November of 2025, the City Council meetings will be held on the SECOND WEDNESDAY of each month.  It will be the same time and place.

These meetings are open to the public and everyone is welcomed.

                    Public Notice- Sealed Bids for the 2026 Airport Lease

Public Notice is, herby given that the City of Valley Mills, Texas will start accepting sealed bids on November 12, 2025 for the lease of approximately 494 acres of land, known as the Valley Mills Airport, less certain expected tracts and subject to certain restrictions, together with improvements, if any, for the term of one (1) year for grazing purposes only. Sealed written bids must be received by the City of Valley Mils, at 101 W. Ave E, Valley Mills, Texas on or before 10AM, on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Bids will be opened and read aloud at the Valley Mills City Hall located at 101 W. Ave E, Valley Mills, Texas on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 10:15 AM. The accepted bid will be awarded on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the regular scheduled City Council meeting at 6:00PM. The City of Valley Mills will have the right to reject any or all bids. The City of Valley Mills also reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time during 2026. The individual or Company awarded the lease will receive a pro-rated refund.
