NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS The City Secretary of the City of Valley Mills, Texas, will accept sealed depository applications from financial institutions with one sealed paper copy, until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Feb 27, 2020. All depository applications will be publicly opened on that date at 2:00 p.m. in the City Hall located at 401 5th St, Valley Mills, TX 76689, for the performance of depository services for the City of Valley Mills, Texas, for the five-year period beginning April 1, 2020 and ending March 31, 2025. It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to ensure that the application is actually in the Office of Celia Rodgers, City Secretary of the City of Valley Mills, Texas, prior to the expiration of the time and date above first written. Applications may be mailed or delivered by hand or common courier. Application envelopes should include the following notation: DO NOT OPEN – VM - NO. 2020-02. Copies of the depository application may be obtained from the home page of the City’s website on the home page at http://www.vmtx.us/ or from City Hall at the above address.  
It is anticipated that the application for the performance of depository services will be awarded by the City of Valley Mills Council on or about Monday, March 9, 2020. The City of Valley Mills reserves the right to reject any and all applications, to waive any and all technicalities, and to accept any application which it deems to be in its best interest. Each respondent agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the City of Valley Mills, Texas, and its respective employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any application. The City of Valley Mills is subject to the Texas Public Information Act, a state law, which may require the City to make the information provided in response to this request for applications available to the public upon request. 

The City Secretary of the City of Valley Mills, Texas, will accept SEPARATE sealed bids for lawn services for EACH of the following City Properties: Area up on the hill by the Water Towers, the Airport runways off Patton Rd, New City Hall at 101 W Ave E, Council Chambers at 505 Ave D, Splash Pad Park at Ave D & 3rd St, Boy Scout Park off Hwy 56, and Santa Fe Park/Library at 2nd and D.
The bids must include mowing, weedeating, and edging for one year period beginning March 1, 2020 and ending Feb 28, 2021.  Sealed bids must be in the office of the City Secretary by 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb 27, 2020. All bids will be publicly opened on that date at 1:30 p.m. in the
City Hall located at 401 5th St, Valley Mills, TX 76689, It is the sole responsibility of the respondent to ensure that the sealed bid is actually in the Office of Celia Rodgers, City Secretary of the City of Valley Mills, Texas, prior to the expiration
of the time and date above first written.

inadequate work.
